Medical Foundation Yong-In Mental Hospital was designated as WHO Collaborating Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Community Mental Health in 2003. We have made our best effort for the development of psychiatry through several activities, including the development and dissemination of psychosocial rehabilitation program, training for the professionals in the region and community suicide prevention activities, based on the collaborative relationship with World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific.

We, the WHO Collaborating Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Community Mental Health, will continue our effort to contribute to the recovery of the people in the process of overcoming mental disorders and to the integration of community and promotion of human rights. We will also try our best to play a pivotal role in supporting the activities for the promotion of community mental health and suicide prevention, providing education to the mental health professionals in the Western Pacific Region as well as establishing collaborative network.
