Yongin Psychiatry Research Institute, an affiliated institution of Medical Foundation Yongin Mental Hospital, aims to help prevent, treat, and rehabilitate mental disorders and further improve public health by collecting, investigating, and researching data and information on mental health.

Founded in 1991 in the Journal of Psychiatry in Yongin (1992), the institute is conducting research on mental diseases and senile dementia, community mental health and rehabilitation, clinical research on mental illness treatment, and collecting and analyzing data on mental health.
